Considering Donations after a Disaster: Goods vs. Junk
This is a recent article in the Atlanta Journal Constitution that discusses donations of items not easily used during times of disasters.
The Pass It On Center, in Atlanta, Georgia is developing an emergency response system based on an existing network of Assistive Technology (AT) Centers across the United States. We are in collaboration with many agencies across the country, actively working on a national database of equipment for emergencies, and assisting with current national emergencies.
